Are you interested in becoming part of one of the fastest growing digital marketing agencies in St. Louis? We’re looking to find our next intern to join our team. PenPath’s goal is to drive real business results while building strong emotional bonds between brands and their audience.

Located across the street of IKEA in the Cortex District, the PenPath team prepares for continued growth in its brand new office. This position will have all the perks of being a CIC/CET member. You’ll have access to all CIC spaces, events, gym, and much more at the heart of the most innovative community in St. Louis.

Our work environment is fast-paced and hands-on. PenPath has built a reputation for delivering high-quality work and everyone on the team is expected to uphold those standards. 

This fall internship will be very hands on with opportunities to work alongside the PenPath team on projects and deal with real business and creative decisions. Be prepared to learn a lot.

Position Description

This position will primarily assist the team by managing client’s social accounts and implementing new campaigns. There will also be fun creative projects that come up regularly.

It is not important to be familiar with the tactics we use — those can be learned relatively quickly. What’s important is having a creative eye and a sense for consumer behavior. We regularly make assumptions and creative decisions for clients. A willingness to research, learn, and apply critical thinking skills is required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute social media strategy
  • Community management
  • Graphic design
  • Curate & schedule content
  • Analyze social data/metrics
  • Collaborate with team & clients when needed
  • Market research

Preferred Experience (not required):

  • Classes towards a BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Photoshop
  • Demonstrable social networking experience
  • A good eye for website design
  • Understanding/feel for consumer behavior
  • Knowledge of online marketing trends
  • WordPress

Pay: Based on experience and skillset ($10-14/hr)

Hours: 20-30 with flexible schedule

Begin Date: 11-15-2016

End Date: 5-15-2016 (could be extended or lead to job offer)
